Photographer's comment: Description. The length of the forewing is 9-13 mm. The wings of the male and female are brown above; light gray-beige below. The underwing pattern is contrasting with the orange submarginal spots on the hindwings. Marginal black spots on the underside of the hindwings with bright blue scales. The hindwing has a filiform tail no longer than 1.0 mm long. The length of the valva is 0.7-0.8 mm. Biology. Stony steppes. Adult years: mid-May-August in 2 generations. Forage plant of caterpillars in the territory under discussion: Orostachys spinosa. Related and similar species. Species of the genus Cupido: differences in the structure of the male genitalia, marginal pattern of the underwing is almost absent or low-contrast; subgenus species. Everes: males are blue-violet or blue above; subgenus species.Cupido: hind wing without a threadlike tail.There is no comments in English so far.
