Once Argynnis and even to the species is undetectable ... So go for the time being in limbo.

And by the way, in the system of some chaos with systematics Argynnis. For example, in its composition have subgenus Fabriciana (IMHO the most mainstream), but there are separate taxa (species?) Coredippe, vorax, nerippe, xanthodippe, as related here, but there is still a separate genus Fabriciana ... Similar story with other genera in Argynnini. In general, I realize that all is not so simple, and in 5 minutes is not done ...If not written there - I ask to move a comment to the right place.

It is not Brenthis. Some Argynnis. Male. Prior to the form does not venture to the Far East with them is very difficult.

Thank you, Basil! I looked at the link. Regarding the underside. Basil, like so and so, if there is a spread, plus a caterpillar to chrysalis. In general, almost complete set

So maybe the species. That is absolutely accurate to compare the Moscow region: http://insectamo.ru/rhop/37-rhop/nymphalidae/141-brenthis-daphne
This site is definitely not wrong to happen :)
Generally Picture checkered top and perlamutrovok better opportunity to make a photo and underside. In order to reduce the doubt to a minimum)

I would like to ask about the white fringe. Not all pictures of this type, it is present on the site. This is as it should be?
