Date and time, location shooting/catching: 2016-04-07 00:00:00, Владивосток, Ботанический сад-институт ДВО РАН

Photographer's comment: An instance derived from the pupa. The pupa was taken in nature on March 26, 2016 and wintered on a sheet of iron, at an altitude of about 2 m and did not freeze. So all the literature sources claiming that pupae hibernate in leaf litter under snow in order not to freeze do not correspond to reality. They are not so much afraid of the cold as they are of various insects for the larvae, and probably birds for the pupae ?

You just have to describe the pupae to remove the Old, they hibernate in leaf litter and a link at this point in the Red Book. The fact that in the journal Biological studies Gornotaёzhnoy Station Number 10, 2006, in an article Experience breeding and Primorye and some species of Lepidoptera .... Authors MM Omelko, NV Omelko , MA Omelko said.In a number of publications (Kononov, 1968 Red Book, 2001) information on the biology altsinoya were not particularly accurate
So it is necessary to remove references to these publications.?

With the first-born in 2016, Ure!) It turns out that information from the Red Book of Primorsky Krai [96] have become obsolete. You need to add new information to the description of the type and results of studies on Gornotaёzhnoy station of which you wrote to me.

Another confirmation that the pupae do not spend the winter under snow in the leaf litter hiding from the cold. Here and adults appeared ....
