Photographer's comment: This is the second butterfly of the species in my house this winter; the first one appeared ~in January. I didn’t see the caterpillars. Probably, they arrived from the garden (Leningradskaya obl., Lomonosovsky raion, around Ropsha) on coleuses (Plectranthus scutellarioides, Lamiaceae) or Soleirolia soleirolii (Urticaceae) and fed on them until January-February. Interesting: in January I used an insecticide-acaricide in the balcony to kill mites (Tetranychidae), but that did not kill the butterfly.There is no comments in English so far.
