Yes, I even signed it "Oil on cardboard". I'm the author. This Sphingidae was caught in 1979, 27th of July, in Nikita. I had no good camera those days. 10 years after I made this picture using an expanded butterfly from a collection trying to be as more precise as it was possible, when depicted colors and position of the body, wings and other features. Think, it's rather piece of science that art.

Must be Igor, cause users can add only their own images... Let's not limit ourselves to photos only, but if there will be many pictures, we'll think about how to improve search to find only photos or pictures separatedly.

I can guess, Igor is the author? If so, then let it be, even as picture, but... I'd prefer photos only.
