Imago Habitus and Differences from alike species
- Body length: 18-28mm. Unlike @ @ Creophilus maxillosus, the whole body is covered in thick hairs, shaggy. Black, head, pronotum and posterior half of the abdomen in golden yellow, posterior edge of the pronotum in black, elytra in glaucous hairs. In cow dung, as well as near the sap-oozing birch stumps.
