- Regions of Russia: South of Khabarovsk Krai, Primorsky Krai. -South Korea, South China. [263].
Imago Habitus and Differences from alike species
- The body is large or medium-sized, moderately elongated. The whiskers are 1.5-2.5 times longer, or barely extend beyond the top of the nadcr. 1. The tops of 4-10 whisker segments are blackened, the 11th whisker segment has a distinct appendage. Pronotum is very densely evenly dotted. The sides of the nadkr. behind the middle with a sharply distinguished white hairy spot. The body is black with a brownish tinge. [263].

- It inhabits oak, maple, bird cherry, Manchurian walnut, hornbeam, willow, hazel, birch, alder, plum, willow. Larvae under bark and in wood. [263].
Pupa
- Pupate in wood in V-VI after the second wintering.The generation is biannual. [263].
