Imago Habitus and Differences from alike species
- Wingspan 60-85 mm. Male similar toPareronia avatarbut with better defined by darkened veins, broader black borders and FW with a series of pale submarginal spots inside black border from apex along the termen. Female has two pale streaks in the cell of FW. The females are dimorphic, the nominate form,f. anaisis a good mimic toParantica agleoideswhile the yellow form,f. lutearesemblesParantica aspasia.
