Imago Habitus and Differences from alike species
- The inner, darkened part of the median field of the forewings is equal to the width throughout. In contrast to the second species, E. dentata Stgr., which is widespread in the Far East, in E. glyphica L. : 1).The outer, darkened part of the median field does not form a clear sharp-angled wave against the cell; 2). There is no hatching on the underside of the rear fenders on a yellow background; 3). The hind legs bear spines. [204].
