Imago Habitus and Differences from alike species

Переднее крыло — до 3 см, окрас — серо-карий, поперечных полосок на передних крыльях — две, пятно между ними — темное. Задние крылья с тонкой желтой обводкой по краю. А еще — длинные усики и большие глаза. [85].

Имаго можно встретить на солнечных, сухих склонах, на полянах и опушках леса, особенно дубовых, где они летают по ночам, прячась днем среди растительности. Бабочки пугливые. [85].
