Imago Habitus and Differences from alike species

  • Body length: 7-9mm. The underparts are covered with yellowish or dark hairs. Black, elytra in front with a broad yellow or yellowish band having 3 black dots on each elytra. Pronotum with yellowish spots. Damages furs, clothing, and collections. Not uncommon in homes. [249].
