Imago Habitus and Differences from alike species

  • The length of the forewing is from 2.4 to 2.8 cm. On each wing there are from one to two eyes on top of a yellow-orange stripe. Semele-like species live only in the southern part of its range, making the exact definition of the species somewhat more difficult.
