Apparently, they taught wrong. The very formulation of the question "why are such and such living organisms needed in nature” is incorrect.

Hello!)
I specially registered on this resource so that maybe the experts could explain to me one of the questions that I don’t understand. Perhaps my question will seem naive to you - it is.) I am not a professional in matters of insects. But please be understanding)
So the question is:
At school, and then I was constantly taught that “... any living organism exists in Nature for a reason. Each brings some benefit with its existence. Some serve as food for other species, others produce something for the lives of others..." etc.
Explain to me, plz, WHY ARE BED BUGS NEEDED/IMPORTANT?!
I did not find the answer to this question on the Internet.
And I came to you)
Thanks in advance)
