Date and time, location shooting/catching: 2000-05-23 00:00:00, South Kazakhstan, the Talas Alatau range, the Ulken-Kaindy tract, the Aksu-Dzhabagly nature reserve

Photographer's comment: Looks very likely as Zygaena meliloti larva. The Cadastre of insects of Zapovednik Aksu-Dzhabagly registers 4 Zygaenidae species: Adscita (Adscita) subtristis Staudinger; Zygaena (Argumenia) sogdiana Erschov; Z. (Mesembrynus) purpuralis Brunnich; Z. (Zygaena) viciae Denis et Schiffermuller.
