Forgot to add, as a background I use common Whatman paper. Not printer paper which is too blueish, just Whatman. I think this matters.

Alexandr, I've got luminescent lamp in my kitchen, above the table, which has 2 20WT tubes. Also it evidently has electronic choke to minimize flicker as it has a higher rate than a usual choke. As fro the postwork, it's Photoshop CS5,5 (64 bit) and ACDSee Pro 6 (64 bit): Win7 64-bit. Oldest camera, Olympus C480 Zoom (4Mpx in macro regime). Pure shamanism, have no better equipment yet though :)

No, I won't overpraise. What do you use to remove shadows, photoshop or shoot in daylight?

Why couldn't take pic with white background? And the very photo is not good quality. Whilst Vasily's recent pics are really great! Updating previous loads. I too should take some time one day and reshoot all my morphos and papilios.

This one should have been plainly signed as Morpho didius without any m. (means menelaus), correcting already second morpho today :(
