I can identify them only two or three days before the imago as through a skin begins to show through picture and begins to show a spot on the male end of the abdomen (where the female is not).

Igor, another question. How do you distinguish pupae on the floor? After all, as I said at the oleander is impossible to guess. I and all the pupae were identical at first glance, and only after the imago all became clear.
The picture made where all understand imago (this is the most obvious difference in my opinion):

I have information that the oleander in captivity bad eating privet (and crumble it in the fall of one of the latter).

I came 2 males and 1 female (there were three pupae). In the current night out male and female. I thought pair and get eggs. But the question arose what to feed the caterpillars in deep autumn, Moscow and the subsequent winter. And the main food plant we have. I had to stay one once for collection.I do not regret: it is precisely for this purpose and initially undertook pupae :)

And I, judging by the state, will be released tomorrow. All females like.

Released today ...
Just her, from one "point" with the male and lacks here :)
