Now I agree with Alexander and Ian. Especially in the blue it has formed a number. inaccuracies. Time something goes. I put probably inaccurate in so far :)

My opinion, the caterpillar is fully sootvetvstvuet idea of Cucullia asteris. Hence, two variants of correct answers:
1. It really Cucullia asteris, at the Sineva it is listed for the adjacent region 28 in question. It can go further east, with such a huge baochka paleoarkticheskim habitat could easily.
2.This is another kind of caterpillar Cucullia, the caterpillars form a color or no in the net. egCucullia elongata.
But since scientists at theCucullia asterissimilar.

It's anything but C. astris, no doubt. This is it http://insectamo.ru/larva/98-hete/noctuidae/1313-cucullia-asteris, no need to check the location.

I think, it's way far from Cucullia asteris. Location doesn't fit. According to the Key to the insects of the Far East of the USSR, there is no asteris in Amur region. I checked the catalogue, it mentions 35—37 regions, neither there.
I'd like to ask the author, Dina, could you please recall on which plant you shot this larva?

Anybody please confirm?

Cucullia asteris, please provide possibility to enlarge the picture. But for 98% sure.
