Alexander, thank you. Yes I do, if not lёtanny instance, I antennku any break or wing will not bend ... =) That's just completed the swallowtail ... hopefully, normal work.

Shamil, keep experimenting, very well turned out, but it is a pity of course, that the flying specimens. Basil, you've got the photo editor eats fine details, and there is no border between the white fringe and the background. I prefer black, but probably need a middle 50% of black :) gray.

And you look http://lepidoptera.ru/gallery/4827
So it is this butterfly as the photo. Just most of it around the environment is too bright to see the good parts.
And when shooting on a white background metering a white paper will not eliminates, exposure shortens. That's the result of "dark matter".

In fact, it's almost kind of a black butterfly: http://insectamo.ru/component/content/article/98-hete/noctuidae/1239-aedia-funesta
And black background is in my view irrelevant. The same, however as white butterfly on a white .....
There simply oblёtany copies. in my opinion, and so on a black background it is clear :) And "as cut" from the fact that there are no shadows)
That's from my balcony (I usually have it and mass): http: // lepidoptera.ru / gallery / 41161 and so it looks really)

Something here looks like something is wrong. On the edges of butterflies some glitches with this approach, as they cut (but of course, that nobody cut).

Thank you. Just before the end of the method worked. It is necessary to shoot in RAW and then at the dark part of the film development to drive to black and black. And as the background was a dark matter, it becomes completely black.
Not all butterflies it works, some very dark colors on the wings.

Great shot! Thick black background. Good detail and focus. It is necessary to me, too, to buy a camera.
