Base gallery. Upperside. Pinned specimen.

Photo, and identified by: Vasiliy Feoktistov. Image without retouching at the website

Date and time, location shooting/catching: 2015-07-08 00:00:00, Russia, Moscow reg., Zheleznodorozhny city, light at night. leg. Feoktistov V.I.

Photographer's comment: Wingspan: 30 mm. The species is included in the Red Book of the Moscow Region (Category 3. A rare species.): http://kkmo2.verhovye.ru/rb/bspozvon/lateroligia_ophiogramma.php Yes, and according to personal observations, this is a very infrequent scoop in our country. By the way: the Saltykovskaya platform, which is constantly mentioned in this book, is located two train stops from Zheleznodorozhny, where my balcony is located, where the butterfly was collected. And it was noted near platf. Saltykovskaya in 1964-1967. Dacha village Saltykovka since June 10, 2003 - a district of the big city of Balashikha, and not an independent administrative unit. Apparently one of the authors had a dacha there in the 1960s :) Just finishing off the way we have compiled all these CC's.... But "the second, expanded edition"....(((
