Imago Habitus and Differences from alike species

  • Body length: 6-10 mm. Unlike the similar Chrysolina marginata black, elytra with a red outer border, extending to the base of the elytra. The sides of the pronotum are straight in the posterior half, with a short rounded front. [249].
