Distribution

  • Amur region, Primorye. Outside of Russia: Japan (Honshu, Shikoku, Yakushima). [123].

Imago Habitus and Differences from alike species

  • Externally very similar to the G. sikkima Moore and G. populifolia angustipennis Wlkr. From the first is characterized by a distinct pattern on the front fenders, and the second by the absence of a protrusion on the outer edge of the front wings at the end of vein A1, narrower rear wings and relatively smooth (only slightly wavy), the outer edge of the two pairs of wings. [123].
