Description. Length of front wing 11-14 mm. The wings of both sexes are brown on top, the male with a faint dusting of blue scales in the basal area; below the male - gray, the female - gray-beige. On the underside of the wings of a number of marginal orange spots are mild, the outer edge of the wings lighten.On the underside of the rear wing between the fourth and fifth spots postdiskalnogo number has a white bar, reaching the discal spot.
The length of the valve is 1.2-1.4 mm.
Biology. Subalpine meadows at an altitude of 1900-2800 meters. Years of adults: July-August 1 generation.
Subspecies. On the territory described: A. teberdina teberdina (Sheljuzko, 1934).
Related and similar species. A. artaxerxes, A.agestis: branch gnathos not reduced; A. nicias: top male blue or gray-green.
