Distribution

Imago Habitus and Differences from alike species
- The wingspan is 14-22 mm. The antennae of both sexes are simple, filiform. Labial palps are thin, directed upwards, brown, the terminal segment is almost equal to the length of the middle one. The maxillary palps are small, thin, and close to the forehead. Proboscis, eyes and chetozema are present. The forehead is smooth and brown. The crown and back of the head are the same color. The forewings are grayish-brown, with 2 bandages: the outer band is in the form of a narrow white line, bordered on the inner side by dark brown scales, almost straight, the inner band is wide, the same bicolored, but at the costal edge it divides into two widely spaced branches. The costal third of the median field is whitish-gray, with 2 dark dots located one below the other. The fringe is brownish. The hindwings are brown. The fringe is light. On the forewings, the bases of veins R2 and the common trunk of veins R3 and R4-5 are close together; veins M2 and M3 extend separately from the median cell. On the hindwings, the M2-3 veins are fused into one. [113].
