  • Nepal, Sikkim, Bhutan, Assam, Burma, China, Thailand, Malaysia, Taiwan, Burma, Balabak, Philippines, Borneo, Sumatra, Nias, Java, Bali. [9].

Imago Habitus and Differences from alike species

  • Wingspan 65-75 mm. UP is black with white markings and broad yellow at dorsum of HW, UnH black with a large red patch at base, discal and postdiscal areas yellow except dark dusted veins and the border broadly darkened. [144].
