Imago Habitus and Differences from alike species

  • Delias patrua shan (Talbot, 1937): wingspan 65-75 mm. Sexes similar, UP is black with yellow and white markings, FW with series of narrow postdiscal whitish stripes and narrow submarginal spots, HW cell patch and postdiscal stripes narrow, dorsum in spaces 1a and 1b completely yellow, submarginal spots at tornal area prominent bluish white ; UnF with a long uniform narrow white streak from base to cell-end, UnH most of markings are yellowish and well defined. [144].
