Imago Habitus and Differences from alike species
- Переднее крыло от 1,5 до 2 см длины, необычные для пядениц яркие, красивые задние крылья, а судя по пятну на передних крыльях можно предположить промежуточное положение пядениц рода Archiearis между собственно пяденицами и совками. В отличие от схожего вида — Archiearis notha, у A. Parthenias обычно имеются черные и белесые точки на передних крыльях, а у самцов усики не двухгребенчатые, а нитевидные. [85].
