Imago Habitus and Differences from alike species
- Длина передних крыльев составляет 1,4—2 см. Окрас — коричнево-желтый, охристый. Срединное поле переднего крыла темнее наружных зон. Передние крылья пересекают две почти прямые поперечные линии, которые до первой линьки окрашены в бурый, а после нее — в светло-желтый цвет. Задние крылья мельче передних, самки крупнее самцов. [85].

- Гусеница вредит лиственным деревьям. Молодые личинки собираются в группы. Узнать гусеницу можно по редким волосикам, боро-красной спине и черному пятну на каждом кольце. [85].
