Distribution

Japan, Korea Peninsula, China, Mongolia, and Kazakhstan. Russian Regions: Khabarovsk Territory, Amur Region, Primorsky Krai, Sakhalin, Kuril Islands (Kunashir Island); Southern Siberia. [250].

Imago Habitus and Differences from alike species

The body is oval, slightly oblong-oval, moderately convex. Foundation of the prsp. strongly rounded.The mustache is long, 1.5 times longer than the width of the head, with a well-defined club. Top of the nadkr.with a transverse crease. The color varies greatly from orange with dark dots to black with red spots. For light forms of prsp. and nadkr. red or orange; Prsp. with an M-shaped dark spot in the middle of the sclera. with 19 black dots (1 common sclera and 9 on each sclera.), which sometimes merge, or, conversely, some are missing. In dark forms, the prsp is black, with yellow or orange spots in the front corners, and the upper edges are black, with red or orange spots. [250].
