Imago Habitus and Differences from alike species

  • Body length: 10-16 mm. In contrast to the closely related Chrysobothris affinis posterior process of the prothorax with rectangular broad lateral protrusions. The color is bronze, with two large golden pits on the elytra. [148].
  • The longitudinal ribs of the elytra are pronounced. [PC93].
