Imago Habitus and Differences from alike species
- Body length: 8-15 mm. In contrast to the closely related Chrysobothris chrysostigma posterior process of the prothorax with acute-angled lateral protrusions. The color is bronze, on the elytra there are two small rounded golden pits. [148].
- The longitudinal ribs of the elytra are weakly expressed. [PC93].
