In Sinev have Epatolmis caesarea given synonym luctifera [Denis et Schiffermuller], 1775 (nomen nudum)

In Seneve is a direct indication that Epatolmis caesarea - is synonymous Phragmatobia luctifera? In our system, they for a moment even different subfamily.

That's right, legal, and saw an article in Wikipedia, and others. Ist, but we adhere Sinev, and there is this kind of - Epatolmis caesarea, which is available here, so Alexander and offers to combine these two pages.

I found in an Internet recording Phragmatobia luctifera (Denis et Schiffermuller, 1775) invalid name
The valid name Spilosoma caesarea Goeze, 1781
Record checked expert Andrey Rozenberg (2012-05-16) Here is a link http://oopt.aari.ru/bio/10914

Ira, three years, all female bears scoops steel :) I do not remember what was necessary to put that into the blue.

Sasha, and there can be no mistakes with the synonymous? I do not know that there is a base, but Phragmatobia luctifera on Sinev in Russia is not (only amurinsis and fuliginosa), butEpatolmis caesarea(bear grim) in Russia in 19 regions is (including in Primorye) and the views of the site is also available (maybe later it made to the database ..?)

04.04.2011 21:47, Peter Khramov

Ok, moved. Alexandr, add synonym, please, if you're sure it has point. Ok?

04.04.2011 21:10, Alexandr Zhakov

Petr, it's already there named as Phragmatobia luctifera.

04.04.2011 18:29, Peter Khramov

Guys, database the species, please.

24.03.2011 11:23, Peter Khramov

So what, move to Epatolmis caesarea or? P. S. Imho is an abbreviation IMHO, stands for "in my humble opinion".

24.03.2011 10:58, Yuri Semejkin

This is not my name and Chistyakov either. My album has no any file named like this. So, either it's some technical bug (not mine), or the human, as it's called today, factor.

24.03.2011 9:30, Yuri Semejkin

Pardon, I seemed to confuse something uploading images. Checked out my folder and found different name, Epatolmis caesarea.

24.03.2011 9:21, Yuri Semejkin

As for bug. Chistyakov examined this caterpillar with me nearby. He called it Arctiidae. Latin name was also given by him. There was also one more entomologist with us. Since I'm not one (and there happen to be some contradictions in this "entoworld"), so I applied to this image the info about author's identifying. Not to confuse who identified that first. By the way, there are some more questionable photos what cause such disputes between experts. A propos, Evgeny, explain, please, what's IMHO?

22.03.2011 23:47, Eugene Karolinskiy

Hm, some technical bug, maybe. Yu. A. Chistyakov could hardly identified it like this. Imho, this is some Arctiidae. (Just for the record, there is no A. statices in Primorye region at all).
