Habitus and Differences from alike species

  • Wingspan 135-160 mm. Similar to T. amphrysus, but thorax beneath with second and third segment reddened; HW (hind - wing) in male has strongly tinted with green, HW in female having submarginal spots separated from marginal spots whereas those of the former species usually conjoined.
