Dear insect experts,
I need to estimate approximately the mass of insects in the biocenosis of the meadow. Could you help with links to good reviews on this topic? I will be grateful for any of your comments! Thank you in advance!

And if you try to paraphrase: can cows be considered insectivorous animals? If so, what and how many pitatelnih veshestvestv can on average arrive at the expense of eating insects. They should be very high in calories, right?

I need to estimate approximately the mass of insects in the biocenosis of a meadow.
Basic methods:
1. Biocenometers of various designs
2. Net-braid Chetyrkina
3. Entomological mowing with recalculation of the net stroke length and its diameter

There are still many different techniques, tricks, and so on.
