Insecta.pro maps: filter by taxon

Community and ForumWebsite news and updatesInsecta.pro maps: filter by taxon

Peter Khramov, 05.12.2024 22:33

Previously, you could only filter markers on the maps by species. Now you can do this for any supraspecific taxon (the map will show the markers of all its daughter taxa). For example, this is the map with markers for all beetles. And this is the map for butterflies and moths. A link to a map with markers for any supraspecific taxon is on its page under the illustration. So, search the page of the required taxon (the search field is on each page of the website at the top right (if you work from a large/horizontal screen) or in the menu (if you work from a small/vertical screen — for example, from a smartphone), on the taxon page there will be information about how many markers there are on the Insecta.pro for this taxon and its daughter taxa. Follow the link — and here are the markers on the map for the selected taxon. There are markers not for all the taxa. Keep this in mind.
