If I didn't make a mistake with the definition, then in Flax. There are areas.

What are the exact locations in the Leningrad region?

They caught me a copper Factory near the village... I don't remember the area from memory, but I'll look at the label at home.

In the south of the Pskov region in the Opochkinsky district, I found a large cluster on a willow tree along the E95 highway (St. Petersburg-Kiev) on June 13 and 15, 2008, with males three times more than females, I also saw in the Pustoshinsky district on June 13, 2008 on a vine.
In Belarus, near Mogilev, I also found a large number of these beetles on a maple tree and 1 on a birch tree on 14.06.08.
Previously, I found them together with the eastern crunch in the Anreapolsky district of the Tver region, also in a large number in June-July, but mostly females. There they preferred young vines and willow-tea.
In 2003, I found 2 females in the Smolensk region. near Velizh along the route also on the vine in early June.
Only M. hippocastani was found in the Leningrad region.
I also found Western Khrushchs in Poland, both in the west and in the east, in a huge number.
And in the west of Germany, I found just a giant cluster of semi-and completely dead "hippocastani" in early June, almost all males.
That's all, perhaps. umnik.gif

In Tsurikov's Beetles of the Lipetsk region, both species have approximately the same number of specimens. given; in the Tambov region, I caught only the eastern one-everywhere and a lot, the western one I saw in the collection-one male-I can't say for sure, but they claimed that it was from the Tambov region.

I caught it in April in the Belgorod region; apparently, it is quite common there.
