about 10 mm

Well, it may be Gyrinus distinctus, but its length is up to 7 mm. So, unfortunately, I won't give you a specific answer. Photos of the genitals (for me) would give a much better idea of the beetle. Although specialists with many years of experience (I'm just a beginner and I often have questions about the definition) can distinguish between vertyachek and in appearance.

Well, it's a barbel from the genus Oberea (definitely). A view... confused.gif I don't know the Far East very well (to put it mildly)... Suppose-Oberea ?heyrovskyi.

Today, under the bark of a half-matted birch, I found two nutcrackers, different in my opinion by species. Please help me figure it out. One was identified as Ampedus pomonae (its size is about 18 mm). The second one is 11 mm in size and differs in color from the first one. North of the Omsk region, forest zone.

I think it's Gyrinus paykulii. The body shape is characteristic and the shape of gonocoxites is similar.

Determining Ampedus (s) from photos is not very reliable. But we can definitely say that pomonae cannot be under 18 mm (it only slightly exceeds 10 mm at most).
The first is Ampedus sanguineus. I will not say anything definite about the second one from this photo: it can be both pomonae and pomorum: you need to look under binoculars (first of all, the dotted pronotum).

In the first photo granulatus is only the smallest (second from the right), the rest are cancellatus
A gold leaf Anthaxia sp.
It is unlikely that someone will say more specifically: it is dark and it is not clear where the beetles eek.gifcome from
