can you tell me this is Byctiscus? If so, what is the difference between betulae and rugosus? 6mm without tube. pretty shiny. Head tube, lower legs and legs with a bronze sheen. On the elytra on the slope there are clearly visible pressed hairs, in the main part they are glabrous.

For differences, see http://www.coleo-net.de/coleo/texte/byctiscus.htm
The simplest thing is that betulae has a bottom of the same color as the top, populi has a bottom of black and blue

some Rhynchites, smaller than pubescens about 3.5 mm. Caught mowing a meadow. The main difference is that the hairs are oblique, but there are no vertically protruding darker hairs. The eyes are rather deeply indented. The hair is dark blue, the legs are almost black with a metallic sheen.

populi I have, yeah, the color of the bottom is clearly different and it is smaller in size.
Oponasenko has another rugosus like for our region is also specified. Simply, a relative sign is indicated between them by a more or less rough punctuation of the elytra.
In general while I put all of them as betulae

Lasioderma, judging by the color, thoracicum. If it is a male, compare the genitals with the picture of Logvinovsky

Thank you. Are there any known finds of this species from Ukraine? I don't have any information.

There were old finds from the Crimea (Prokhorov, 2010). I don't have any more recent works on Ukrainian gold coins.

Yes, I've read Prokhorov's work. I thought maybe there was something newer.

Hello!
Tell me, please, Lagrini (Shaggies) are now considered a subfamily in the Tenebrioidae or are they separated into a separate family related to blackbirds? Something on the Coleoptera website both taxonomy variants are present.

Previously considered a separate family, now it is a subfamily of blackbushs
