And what kind of republic? Kazakhstan or Mari El?
And again: are aberrations also "all possible"?

Probably, we are talking about Udmurtia...

I have a crazy idea to make an atlas of the days of butterflies of my republic. Butterflies will be: all types, series, all possible generations, variations, aberrations, etc. The material for filming is ready, it has been collected for more than 20 years. Question? Does anyone else need it?

It's not a crazy idea at all. only need a sponsor. Publish 50 copies - $ 1500 worth.

Still, it will depend on the volume, and the volume - on what kind of republic. Of course we were talking about a list, otherwise it's about an atlas.

as for the Ukrainian atlases-their cost before the crisis was 70 hryvnias -12 pupaars and the teacher's salary is 800 hryvnias . after all, it is necessary to eat something
about the issue of illustrations in entomological publications - I am only for a large number of drawings and photos

They could be brought in a limited number and quickly sold out. At least, this was the case in Simferopol: once they brought 2 copies of "diaries", one copy of "scoop" and two copies of "amphibians" to the Bukva store, they were raked almost instantly and no longer delivered (I already had"diaries", barely managed to buy "amphibians", and "scoop " had to be ordered).

My five kopecks per topic:
I once criticized this book about the definition of beetles: http://molbiol.ru/forums/index.php?showtop...dpost&p=1029075
Yesterday I got into it again and noticed how wonderful, in my opinion, Hawkmoth is represented in it. There can be no unambiguous relation to atlases (for better or worse).
Here, take a look (in my opinion, very good for beginners):

does such a book exist in the PDF, or is it something like this?

Check out plantago's library. I did. But it's in German.
