The generic name Euclidia munita, given for the species on this page, is obsolete, since it, along with its related species Euclidia triquetra, was removed from this genus into a separate independent genus, and this tapeworm is currently called Gonospileia munita. ("Catalog of Lepidoptera Russia" version 2.2 from 10.06.2022. And yet, the Western Caucasus region of its habitat is not specified (13). See photo # 97400.
