1st - isn't it Cychrus caraboides? And with granulatus, this happens, as far as I remember.

Cychrus-Cychrus caraboides, there are no other species there. Many species of Carabus have aberrations with red thighs, including Carabus granulatus.

Exactly PG18, I didn't even pay attention to it. It looks like C. cancellatus is in the center. By the way, it also happens with red thighs. In general, Alexanor, beetles should have been photographed basally.
