Norilsk and its surroundings

Community and ForumTravel and expeditionsNorilsk and its surroundings

I have long dreamed of visiting the north of the Krasnoyarsk Territory and probably in the summer there will be such an opportunity. Friends, maybe someone knows interesting places in the vicinity of Norilsk, and further, where you can catch insects? It is clear that only seven-legged carabuses are found near Norilsk Nickel, but I think there are good places outside the city. I also wonder who to target in terms of butterflies and carabusni.

Apparently, everyone is already used to the south, in the tropics... I'm going to the tundra alone, like a fool, to feed mosquitoes... smile.gif In general, I saw somewhere on the forum about catching insects in the North, so there are people, but for some reason they are silent frown.gif

There seems to be a large strip of dead taiga around the city, I don't know if there is anything interesting there. And they brought me karabuses, though not from near Norilsk, but from the Putorana plateau. Several species-vietinghoffi, heningi, odoratus, trunkaticollis, canaliculatus.

Any info will do! Thanks) About the place-I think to move to Lake Lama and as a tourist place, they say, interesting.

Lama Lake is already the Putorana Plateau, so there is nothing wrong with nature there. Somewhere I came across an article about beetles in the vicinity of this lake, I'll try to find it, although I don't promise 100% that it will work out.

From Lake Lama, remarkable species of diurnal butterflies are known, including a special subspecies of phoebe.
