Dear like-minded people!
I am looking for a companion / traveling companion (maybe two, preferably a bug person!), for a period of 3-5 weeks. Approximate geography: Turkey, Georgia, Iran, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan. Other options are possible.
My area of interest is mostly Agrodiaetus (Lycaenidae), Colias (Pieridae).
I consider good old Iran as one of the options. The country is familiar, I've been there 4 times, there are certain developments and routes. There is no special reference to the time – the beginning. May-beginning august. I plan to travel sometimes by hitchhiking, but more often by bus. Accommodation is planned in a tent, occasionally in hostels. In addition to entomology (it is supposed to catch light from a battery), the second goal is photographing nature (mountains, plants, insects), people, villages and sights unknown to a wide range of people. According to the photo – a normal level, as for an amateur. The trip is focused more on visiting natural and landscape places. In Iran, for example, in addition to small six-legged animals, there are plenty of large animals: fennec, bezoar goats, mountain sheep, wolves, a huge number of porcupines, eared hedgehogs and wild boars!!! Wonderful nature: amazing waterfalls and caves, including the largest cave in the world. So there is a lot to see, photograph, and fish in Iran.
PS I take the choice of a companion seriously. A person is also needed for future trips, so that he does not get carried away with mass collections of everything that moves, otherwise conflicts may arise on this basis. I don't do mass collection myself.
