Collecting data on where and what butterfly species are protected

Community and ForumOther questions. Insects topicsCollecting data on where and what butterfly species are protected

Peter Khramov, 13.01.2014 18:25

I want to add a section in the description of the view on Lepidoptera.ru — whether the species is included in the protected lists and, if so, in which ones. Accordingly, it will be possible to view this information on the page with the description, as well as select species based on it (i.e. show protected or unguarded or protected here on this list).
This requires the original data. If everything is clear with Cites, then with our Red Books (first of all, regional Ones, of course) — on the contrary.
Therefore: if anyone has scans of the currently relevant regional Red Books (or can shoot pages dedicated to butterflies) - post pliz links in this topic or drop me an email main#lepidoptera.ru and then I can process all this and make convenient selections on the site for general use.
If anyone has any thoughts on the idea as such-also write in the topic, it will be interesting.

Isn't the Alexey Shipunov library suitable? There seems to be regional CC almost everything.

And the level above, Europe (although it is unofficial) and other countries, not the CIS?

Here is the lepidoptera section of the Tatarstan Red Data Book for 1995. http://rghost.ru/51626423
For 2006, too, there is, but the quality is worse, as fotkal for yourself. I can reshoot it if I still need to. And if you only need names and page numbers, then I can post them as well.

Gentlemen, thank you for the info. Who posted the files/links-I looked at everything, everything will come in handy. As for the Shipunov library — I would also look at it, but now the site is not plowing (I don't know if it's temporary or not). About not the Russian Federation-of course, it is also necessary, but this is already, I think, blind as information from users separately, and not as a centralized addition.

I'll send you a list by email.
But I don't know. years ago, the All-Russian Research Institute of Environmental Protection published books containing consolidated lists of species from all our CC's and even regulations on protection. It is already somewhat outdated, it seems that there are data on insects for 2004, but there is no other way to find data from many CC's. These books should be available in Moscow libraries. I can not quickly find and write the full title, then the first author is everywhere Prisyazhnyuk V. E.

On "Flora and Fauna" there are these books Called, I think, "Red List of Russia"
Py.Sy. In order not to search, I post it here:

If anyone has any thoughts on the idea as such-also write in the topic, it will be interesting.

An empty idea - CC regions, and even Russia are reissued every 10 years.
Total number of species in all CC, number of regions.... estimate the number of edits per year, provided that the views themselves are = const. And all this despite the fact that you will monitor the output of each "regionalki".
It's okay to mention CITES and CC RF, but the regions... Who cares what is now (or rather, at the time you found out about it ) "protected" in Mukhosransk confused.gifI think that spending time on "such" is extremely wasteful, it (time) is constantly not enough rolleyes.gif

Well, duc to all who do not want to get under the distribution of the same. Like, warned, therefore, armed.

17.01.2014 14:21, Penzyak

For nature protection, even in a particular "Mukhosransk", nothing can be done without their regional CC "Mukhodrishchenskaya" region. And if you also take into account that people often write them, let's say "accidentally" or on behalf - and often just for banal pennies from the "head" that is, an essay on a protected species.... And that's when the shoving in of anything "valuable" that lives/grows on their territory begins... Yes, there will definitely be a narrow-minded mossy luminary in the "given" field of sciences who, without a little effort, will sweep out the sprouts of the rational and make their own crusty archaic adjustments.... At the same time, it is not uncommon for pennies allocated for this particular project to fall into the hands of not quite clean bosses... where some of them will accidentally stick to their "raking paws".... and the other will be profucated for a picnic in the entourage of an under-paid local protected area.... Examples of this in these troubled times, no matter how sad it is, are enough to smear the most beautiful idea.

17.01.2014 18:19, Лавр Большаков

And you can not publish the CC. Write a decree with a list and publish a booklet or postcards with pictures, so that people would know who should not be killed-and that's it.
How much savings will be made in the state budget and researchers ' efforts! And how many bosses will not commit fraudulent acts of misappropriation of other people's works!

Peter, read EVERYTHING from beginning to end! even in your quote of me, there is a hard-to-fulfill condition wink.gifand even more so ZERO benefits. If you value your time SO much (=0), then good luck wink.gif

PS just for fun, and who "we got under the distribution"? even fans of argali pohmalyat AKM otmazali frown.gif(and this, with the HIGHEST control !!!!)?

PPS who nah is interested in vikrama in the Tambov region, except me? and a few other people? maybe let's go breastfeed to preserve a Large oak barbel in Lipetsk (a copy without a label)!!!!!

it's all nonsense! don't clutter up a good website. don't waste your time and energy on empty ideas - my opinion

In everyone's favorite law, there are lines about protected species. As far as I understand, the views from Mukhosransk will also be quite protected. So that the person knows whether he is running into trouble or not (not when fishing (for when fishing he always runs into trouble), but, for example, when exchanging/selling), such information will be useful to him. And the fact that the composition of 3 books in the invertebrate section is often full of nonsense-this is understandable, there is a separate topic here nearby...

well, they would have said right away that the topic is about selling / hunters/exchange, what is there to hide a sin rolleyes.gifshuffle.giffor everyone? we are all sinful-sometimes we even change the material wink.gif
then rename the topic to "red book sales / exchanges", or how not to fall under "distribution" wink.gif

the question remains the same - how often will you update the relevant pages? (VNII OP, for several years, was able to generate a book as of 2004 - in 2008) shuffle.giffucking bureaucrats!

The topic is not about the sale/trappers/exchange, but about consolidating information about the protection of butterfly species from the so-called legislation of the Russian Federation (first of all) and other countries (not first) on Modeling.

How exactly not to get in is not clear to everyone: rigor is compensated by non-compliance. I don't mean that. I mean, it would be nice for the user to have at least some kind of list that you can focus on the protection of species. And he's not here right now. At best, the CC RF plus CITES.

Bureaucrats, they are, yes. We will update the corresponding pages more often than the authors of any other summary list. Because there is no other list. And if there is one — throw a link at me, I will gladly not do double work;--))
