German Shlemovich Lafer passed away

Community and ForumWe mourn the departed. ObituariesGerman Shlemovich Lafer passed away

Dracus, 01.02.2015 10:37

I found out that I died on December 29 German Shlemovich Lafer, coleopterologist, specialist in beetles and birds of the Far East.
Perhaps his most famous discovery is Sikhotealinia zhiltzovae, the only abstract representative of the Mesozoic family Jurodidae.
He was an unusual man. For me - as a certain source of inspiration, because he also "retrained" in entomologists, being a chemist by training.
Bright memory.

It is clear that the age is already very respectable, and that this is life. I'm still sorry. Eternal memory.
