They've been in my apartment for 40 years. As soon as they stopped damaging the bug collections in the boxes, I calmed down. They won't touch the guinea pig. They don't bite. They accumulate on the window because they fly into the light. Maybe this is a chance for you to start studying beetle biology.

So your calmness surprises me.
Will the apartment promo code help? Or fight them бесполезно.
РЅ. I even found a nasty maggot in the soda, okay?

Promo code won't help. If they are already even in soda, then now only a tactical nuclear charge will help. smile.gif

Such a large number of them suggests that somewhere you have accumulations of dust and organic debris. Try to do a general cleaning, in all the nooks and crannies?

this has been happening since September.
climb and climb from somewhere. I don't know where it came from. it's already -15 outside the window.
there were a lot of flowers-I made my wife take everything out on the balcony, and insects climb.
they grow over time. this instance is approximately 1.5 cm.
I myself am a medical doctor, so to knowledgeable people with the question-what is it, where is its nest and what does this garbage threaten? (to my limited knowledge, it looks like ants during the summer of queens)

These are horntails. Is the house made of wood? And where do you live?

Help us determine what kind of insect it is. I barely caught it. More precisely, I saw it, and caught it. The photo was taken at night with artificial light, so it's a little dark. The insect is light yellowish-transparent in color. 1.5 mm long. It has two antennae. Make no mistake - its belly is not dark, but was also yellow-transparent, until it-this viper bit me. My own blood is inside. So now the abdomen is bright red. It stung my arm. The place after the bite immediately begins to itch, and after five minutes a huge blister appears. I have been fighting this infection for several years. I thought I was allergic, but about two years ago I saw him, how he bites and after the bite, and immediately crushed him. Then I worked on the sofa, and until now I haven't had a raccoon animal. And here it is again tonight. I thought on a nervous basis (my neighbors were walking as much as the smoke was coming) allergy poured out. I turned on the light, looked at the sheets, and there was this thing crawling, which I thought I had already left a long time ago. Barely caught it, and took a picture. Help!!! Tell me how to fight!!! weep.gif

This is a bed bug.

So small and transparent? 1-1. 5 mm. Almost invisible. I barely saw it. A tiny red ball rolled across the white sheet. A microbe, you might say.

28.11.2007 2:04, guest: Ollla

40 years old? Nah, I can't take that much. Better yet, "tactical nuclear charge". smile.gif))
I would not say that there are many of them, but they managed to visit everywhere. A great place for them was a cabinet with all sorts of papers, books, rags. But this nest was destroyed without regret. A couple of weeks they were not bulo visible, and now again. I'll have to look for dichlorvos, which I haven't seen in stores lately.

western siberia.
the house is brick on the 9th floor.
true, a lot of furniture is made of pine. is it gnawing on a tree?

28.11.2007 6:25, Dmitrii Musolin

yes, larvae develop in wood. inspect the surfaces carefully to see if there are any exit holes.

28.11.2007 6:30, vb

I looked it up online. exactly-gnawing.
true, everywhere large coniferous and blue pine are described. their bellies are yellow, and mine is blue-black.
do they breed in furniture? or after the release, they will no longer be available.

28.11.2007 6:36, Dmitrii Musolin

they settled the wood in the forest (or in a timber warehouse?). The larvae just develop slowly. Here they finish development, pupate and fly out. This is not uncommon. Not dangerous at all.

28.11.2007 6:46, z.natasha

Please respond if it is not difficult. I just really need to - I'm eight months pregnant, I need this stuff wiped out before the baby shows up at the house. God forbid they start biting him.
- How to deal with these beetles effectively?
- Where do larvae come from if I haven't seen an adult insect?
- How to prevent them from entering the house?
Thank you all in advance!

read:
...during the exit, the horntail gnaws with great force. cases are described when horntails chewed through tin, gas pipelines and other objects lying on top of wood...

what a horror! and if I, let's say, slightly drunk will lie on top of the furniture (on the table!), then it will chew me through?!

28.11.2007 7:14, Tyomochkin

Most likely in the furniture... And it would be desirable to get them out of there quickly... otherwise, you will be left without furniture... this isn't a joke...

28.11.2007 9:36, amara

I would not recommend using chemicals in any case. You will cause more harm to yourself (the whole family and your beloved pig, too). General cleaning with a good vacuum cleaner will do the trick.

28.11.2007 9:47, omar

output responses - round holes corresponding to the body diameter of an insect without wings

and how to etch them?
do they breed there or will they hatch and that's it?

28.11.2007 11:02, omar

They'll hatch and that's it. The question is, how many of them got into your house together with the timber smile.gif

28.11.2007 11:11, Guest

Hello everyone!
In August, I caught such a small animal in the country, only smaller in size and without wings. I thought it was a female field cricket, but a week ago, after a long time not getting out of the mink, the animal shed, respectively, increasing in size. And, most importantly, the wings grew (I do not observe the ovipositor).
Questions:
1. Help determine the type of cricket
2. Do female crickets have wings or not, do they dig holes?
3. Maintenance tips (what is better to feed, how much land is needed, temperature)
4.How to propagate it? Announce planned mating?))))

Well, the picture shows a male-not only is there no ovipositor, but also a beautiful sound device...

thank you all very much!

Doctor, what is it I have confused.gif

Suddenly there were these dark brown speckled beetles. Only in the kitchen. They fly. They don't move fast. They don't bite. We reviewed everything, we didn't find any nests, but they fly, they die really quickly, we constantly find corpses on the windowsill, on the floor... Even when crushed, they crunch, but not much, not like grinders.
Sorry for the bad photos, they are very small 1-2 mm and the camera of someone does not take even on the "macro".
So who is IT?

Congratulations! You've got some seeds! Do you have any beans? pull out the package and view it. If there's dust at the bottom, they did their best. The seeds should have perfectly round holes (1.5-2 mm). Or check other stocks of legumes or grains: peas, soybeans, lentils, etc.

I guess I forgot my Latin for a bean seed.

Thank you guys, YOU are GENIUSES!!
The other day we received a parcel from the south from our relatives, so they threw beans into the void so that it wouldn't rattle. Such beautiful beans were healthy, but now I looked in the bag-don't take them out! There's a sea of them out there!

Do they even take root in the north (I'm in St. Petersburg)? If the source is liquidated, then still all the stocks are thrown out?

30.11.2007 22:10, Mylabris

Well, in my opinion, it's not a big problem - throw out the old beans, buy a new one (if you can't do it without it), and store it in a closed container-such as iron cans, plastic containers, etc. Well, as for St. Petersburg, or Arkhangelsk, they don't give a damn, as long as the temperature is constant (and I really want to believe that there are no strong temperature changes in your apartment).

30.11.2007 22:36, Mymrik

Thank you very much. Where they are, of course, I immediately threw everything away. I mean, should I throw out everything else (legumes) where they don't exist? While I was waiting for an answer I threw smile.gifit away )
Special thanks for participating, there are no differences ))

I am sincerely grateful for how you made my life easier, it is inappropriate, of course, on THIS forum, but somehow I don't like them all (insects) very much, especially at home...

30.11.2007 22:46, Mylabris

Well, if you also remember that insects devour about 1/3 of the annual crop of Land... Appropriate.

If I'm not mistaken, they've already posted about bedbugs.
Check out the wallpaper - do they go anywhere? If so, bend and etch the collons if you find them (they usually pile up in groups).
If the furniture is old, then it is better to etch and drag.
Now it seems that there are special services - they kill all malware with a guarantee.

Let's clarify - Xiphydriidae are not horntails, so they found descriptions of other species. See Xiphydria either on the Internet or in hardwood-depending on what you need ))))

wound up small less than 1 mm, black as dots. weep.gif Bite, body bites, itch very much

04.12.2007 18:18, Mylabris

A photo or schematic drawing is required.
1. Is it easy to get lost?
2. How to move (jump, crawl, etc.)
3. Apartment or private house? Floor?
4. Do you have any pets at home?

These are raptor larvae. We urgently need to evacuate the house.

Well, why joke so cruelly? And suddenly a person will take it at face value (from shit and even a sense of humor atrophies). Don't be afraid, Elena! These are probably some insects on which, after correct identification, it is not difficult to find justice! If they do jump, it's probably fleas. Do you have any pets?

It's done! Tonight, for the first time since entering adulthood, I gave my voice. The sound machine worked one hundred percent! By four o'clock in the morning, I wanted to come to the kitchen with a pillow. He didn't show up all day, probably sleeping. Preparing for the night...

05.12.2007 0:49, Guest

No, they don't jump, they run. Floor 1. And to joke and in truth not Nada and even so the roof eats, in the house after all 2-month-old child, and they climb on it. From the animal cat, on the street does not go. The photo turned out to be very vague.
