Hello everyone
The bottom line is this. In the summer, bedbugs escaped from neighbors through the outer wall of the house. The fact that they were bed beetles is for sure. In the apartment successively penetrated 3 pieces. The first one bit several times and was destroyed. A few weeks later, another one came running, but after a couple of bites, it suffered the same fate. Again for a few weeks - a quiet sleep. In the fall, the third one made his way. Made two bites within a few days and went quiet. He was not caught, but for more than 2 months he did not show himself in any way.
Is there any chance that he's still alive? I'm worried that something has happened to him.
So far, as an explanation for his mysterious disappearance, I consider 3 options: he was quietly crushed at night, was absorbed by a vacuum cleaner, fell into suspended animation and is waiting in the wings.
