In the starting post of this topic I publish plans — separately what is planned to be added and corrected without radical changes in the design and software part of the site and separately — with a complete rework of the "engine" and design. In the comments you can make suggestions about other necessary things and comment on what is already in the plans.

Without global changes in the software and design:
— Re-uploading photos in a larger size (now many long-time-ago-uploaded photos are displayed in a small size) and with modern copyrights (you can see the old website addresses on some of the photos).
— A new entity on the site — "Landscapes" with the ability to link them to species, photographs, map markers and other entities.
— Our own search in various sections of the website (now there is only our own search by taxa and full-text search of "Yandex" on the pages indexed by it). Plus a direct link to the search page (now we can only get there via the "Search" button).

With global changes in the software and design:
— New, more convenient and pleasant design.
— More convenient interactive functions for editing the content on the site by users — Drag-and-drop and the like.
— New "engine" — faster and more functional.

And in addition to the technical plans — a major reform of the taxa tree based on more modern and "to the point" sources, plus the addition of a large amount of data to the descriptions of insect species on the website.
