Photographer's comment: Poplar Admiral - very good-looking. It was possible to reach it through the feed base. My friend knew where there was a clump of black poplars on the site of a former manor house near an abandoned mill. Once we purposefully got there. To our great joy, poplar admirals periodically flew over us. It turns out that next to poplars they chose old lime trees. Unfortunately, the butterflies did not come down, and I had to get them feeding on linden flowers with a TV box - from 20 meters away. The fact itself is very interesting for our northern butterflies, and so I decided to offer this picture for publication. Please, create an account or log in to add comments.
