Date and time, location shooting/catching: 2014-06-06 00:00:00, Vologda region, Veliky Ustyug, the outskirts of the city near the railway station, a lawn on the edge of a moistened pine forest.

Photographer's comment: A poet's dream has come true. I spent four years hunting for this butterfly. We have on the 60th parallel in the eastern corner of the Vologda region, for some reason its years do not have a mass character. Every year I saw only about one specimen in different places. Here I came across on the outskirts of the city near the forest, exactly in the place where I noticed last year. Vanessa Cardui and all the big butterflies fly very beautifully (glide) and sail in the wind.
