Time to move.

Evgeny, new species needed (to add and approve).

Genus added.

Ok, let it be. Waiting for Petr's answer about this morning technical bug and will do that in the evening (have some plans for this day already).

05.02.2011 13:48, Vasiliy Feoktistov

Ok then, let it be Phrygionis paradoxata (Guenée, [1858]), that's it. Will be corrected if needed.

Both as synonyms? How come? One must be the main anyway! And subspecies are not set yet.

05.02.2011 13:36, Vasiliy Feoktistov

Both names are to set as synonyms, Phrygionis paradoxata (Guenée, [1858]) and Phrygionis argentata (Drury, 1773). Not do subspecies though, incolorata, Prout, 1910 (unknown).

05.02.2011 13:19, Evgeny Komarov

But there argentata is a synonym to paradoxata, pay attention: http://mothphotographersgroup.msstate.edu/species.php?hodges=6671. There is The Global Lepidoptera Names Index, so their taxonomic statuses are questionable both. Can be any possible. Let's wait for some opinions more! Species is clear, but the name is not. Maybe, just set one as a main, and the second as a synonym? Toss a coin.

05.02.2011 12:50, Vasiliy Feoktistov

There is also argentata: http://www.nic.funet.fi/pub/sci/bio/life/insecta/lepidoptera/ditrysia/geometroidea/geometridae/ennominae/phrygionis/index.html#argentat. What should we consider default?

05.02.2011 12:39, Vasiliy Feoktistov

Yes, confusing. Your suggestion was my first thought, saw your link before and found out after this: http://mothphotographersgroup.msstate.edu/species.php?hodges=6671, thus offered argentata.

05.02.2011 12:23, Evgeny Komarov

Vasily! Is Phrygionis paradoxata incolorata, Prout, 1910, not good for you? See no differences except that this one is rather new, and that is worn-out, look: http://www.guianensis.fr/photos_geometridae_1.htm#top.

05.02.2011 11:45, Vasiliy Feoktistov

Some Phrygionis, suspect, Phrygionis argentata (Drury, 1773).
